Summer Competition

The Mary Luckham Trophy
Highlights of My Summer 2004.

Over the past years, this competition has been a photographic exercise, of one sort or another. This year, I would like to try something a little different.

During the coming months, most of us will take a break, from our normal routine. Some will jet off to exotic parts of the world, while others will spend time with relatives, nearer home. For some there will be a day out to an event, be it cultural, sporting or maybe an outdoor concert. Perhaps a long walk along a remote coastal path or a stroll in one of the local parks. The summer is full of opportunities to take some wonderful images.

This year's competition is to pull together a panel of 4 images, either in print or slide format, that tell the story of the highlight of your summer.
I am looking for a panel, which tells me where you have been and what was there, and maybe, even the atmosphere. How you choose to present your images is up to you, but for many of us, it will be the first time putting a panel together. They will be judged as a complete panel rather than individual images.

The Mary Luckham Trophy is judged early in to the new season in September and I look forward to seeing
