MARY LUCKHAM TROPHY 2010

Summer Break Competition

To be judged next season on 4th October 2010 by the Chairman

Subject: “River”

  • You should produce a panel of two prints of the same river, mounted either on one piece of mount-board or as two separate mounted prints.
  • The name of the river should be stated on the back of the mount(s).
  • Your pictures should aim to capture the “mood” or “feel” of the river.

Rivers lie at the heart of our lives and landscapes.

Salisbury owes its position and growth to the confluence of rivers.

Rivers bring water and life.

Your pictures could relate to the landscape of the river, wildlife, river features, weather conditions, atmosphere & mood, human activity, including riverside architecture, bridges, boats and shipping, leisure & pleasure, etc.

The choice is yours!
Your river could be in any part of the world, large or small, from the Amazon to the tiniest Lakeland beck.

Good shooting! Peter Woodhouse - Chairman
