It was agreed by the meeting that club would take part in the SPF Print Championship to be held in March 2010 and the club should try to encourage as many members as possible to attend the event as it normally a good day out. 10.              Christmas Party

After some discussion it was decided that we would have the Christmas Card competition as previous years but the cards could either be still images, animated images or short AV sequences.

Peter has a competition using small photos of places in Salisbury which requires the members to identify the correct location, it was agreed that we should use these two things in the first part of the evening and the rest should be used for social chit chat. Members would be asked to provide the eats and drinks.

11.               A.O.B.: -

It was suggested that it would be a nice gesture if the Club sent Cath Carey a Christmas card as she was a life member; Peter Read agreed to send her a card from the club.

The club has a friendly Print and Digital Image competition arranged with New Forest Camera Club in 2010. Tony suggested that the prints and images for this competition should be selected by using only one entry per member, as this would give 24 members opportunity to have their work selected to be used by the club rather than just the best work from a few members.

Peter Read reminded the committee that the club said at the start of the season they would run a number of workshops on various topics. As this had not yet happened, Peter thought we should try and make a start on this. It was agreed that we should and it was decided that time would available on the evening that we show the SPF Exhibition Images (11th January 2010) as it will only take about half an hour to show the images so there will be time after this to run a workshop, and a notice would be put on the notice board, asking for subjects to be covered.

Roger asked if we should look for another location for our meetings. The meeting felt that it would be a good idea to keep this under review and if somewhere came up we should look into it.
