Minutes of the Annual General meeting held at Harnham Free Church 15/16 Hawksridge, Ridings Mead Harnham Salisbury
On Monday 18th May 2009 at 7.45p.m
There were 30 members present; apologies were received from Julie Layzell, Sarah Shelley, Roger Kent, Ernest Minns, and Tim Kidner,
The minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 18th May were circulated. Acceptance that these minutes were a true record of the meeting were proposed by Phil Clegg, seconded by Peter Woodhouse and signed by the Chairman Tony Oliver
Matters arising: -
There were no matters arising.
Chairman's Report: -
The Chairman read his report which had been circulated. It stated that the Club had a successful season this year and this would be the last year he would stand as chairman and welcomed Peter Woodhouse as his successor.
Treasurer's Report: -
The Treasurer reported was circulated It stated that this year the Club had 44 members. This increase is probably due to the increased interest in digital photography. It stated that the Subscriptions, Visitors, Raffle, Tea and sales have all shown an increase over 2008/9. As a result of this the committee would not be recommending any increase in membership fees. Acceptance of the report was proposed by Sheila Read and seconded by Phil Clegg.
Club Subscriptions for 2009/2010: -
The Committee proposes that for the 2009/2010 club year, the Subscriptions should remain the same as last year. This was proposed by Peter Read and seconded by Ivor Smith, members present agreed this unanimously.
The membership fees for 2009/2010 will be
Normal membership £ 38.00
Joint normal membership £ 63.00
Visitors £ 3.00 per visit.
Changes to Competition Rules:-
The chairman explained the changes to the Competition Rules for next year.
The John Burke Cup (Silver Cup) will be awarded to the member scoring the highest aggregate score in Gold section of the 5 Bi -Monthly competitions.
The Miss SLOANE STANLEY CUP (Silver Cup) will be awarded to the member scoring the highest aggregate score in Silver section of the 5 Bi -Monthly competitions.
The other change is the Club Trophy which will be awarded to the highest scoring Image in the new competition for Projected Digital Images

Members present agreed unanimously that all the nominated members should be elected.
Any other business:-
Tony Oliver informed the members that a summer outing and barbeque had been arranged at Roger Kent's farm at Odstock on the Saturday the 27th June 2009 start at 2 to 2.30pm.. Tony asked members to keep an eye on the club web site for a map and details of this event.
Tony Oliver proposed a vote of thanks to Rose Snape for doing the Tea and coffee and to Sheila Read for her hard work on competition nights.
Roger Ellway thanked the chairman Tony Oliver for his stewardship of the clue over the past 3 year.
Meeting closed at 8.00p.m.
