Salisbury CC members took thousands of photos for this project. It covered all the streets in central Salisbury with panoramas. In all 19km of roads were photographed. Help was given by the Planning department for processing all the images.
6 sets were made and all labelled. One set went to the Planning department. One to the Wiltshire Buildings Trust and another to the Local Studies section of the Library [now been sent to Chippenham I believe]. One to the Cathedral archives and one to the Museum. and one for display in the library and the museum during 2000.
There are no examples of the images taken here. It is such a vast project. Here are the notes and ways we planned the project. We could add photos later.
